Silver Plated Skeletal Fairy Ear Stud
Hand Crafted in England
Made from Silver-Finished Pewter with Black Crystal
Darkly Magical and Eye-catching

 Temporarily Out of Stock

What's more magical than a flying sprite? (An no, we're not going to do the Flying Mountain Dew joke here.) That's right, and undead flying sprite.

This fearsomely handsome ear stud is made from the finest English lead-free pewter and finished in a layer of pure silver. It features a gruesome (yet, somehow attractive) winged, skeletal fairie, glancing over it's shoulder, as if looking back to a time when it bore flesh. The figure is expertly designed to be everything fairies are -- graceful, elegant, magical, beautiful -- only, it's a dead, graceful, elegant, magical, beautiful fairie. You get the point. Perfect with gothic outfits or as a standalone dash of personality.

The flintlock pistol was the greatest advance in pirating since the wooden leg. The concept was fairly simple: gunpowder was stuffed into the barrel. A lead ball, usually wrapped in some sort of fabric, was stuffed in. A hammer was then pulled back half-way and left that way until the gun was ready to fire. The pistol technically was not meant to fire in this position, although sometimes they were known to go off half-cocked (and yes, that is the origin of that expression). When the gun was ready to be fired, the hammer was pulled back all the way and the trigger was squeezed.
